Post-production and VFX Course
Taught by ESCAC within the OFF ESCAC program in collaboration with Outlabs Training
Train students to learn how to make visual effects compositions in 2D and 3D using the Davinci Resolve FUSION software. In the process, students will have to submit a final composition to validate their assimilation.

MODULE 1: Introduction and Fundamentals of FUSION Getting started / Basic concepts of nodes / Basic transformations and Visualization
MODULE 2: Masks, tracking and rotoscoping. Introduction to masks / Advanced masks and digital painting / Introduction to image tracking / Tracking flat surfaces
MODULE 3: Embedding and composition. Chroma Keying Fundamentals / Keying Refinement / Compositing Techniques I / Colour Correction in Fusion / Compositing Techniques II and Workflow
MODULE 4: Text, Particles and Introduction to 3D Texts and titles / Fundamentals of the Particle System / Particle System II and modifiers / Introduction to 3D space / Basic construction of 3D scenes
Objectives
Provide students with the essential tools for acting on camera, and learn to use them, thus developing their expressive and emotional skills.
Throughout the course, work will be done to improve the student's critical capacity in the face of interpretation, both his own and that of others, and also to understand and become familiar with the audiovisual language and filming processes, also including casting.
Students will learn to build characters and scenes with more confidence and creativity and to direct their classmates to find the desired result.
Evaluation
Attendance greater than 80%
Presentation of evaluable final project
Access Requirements
Over 16 years of age.
Be a community citizen (hold the nationality of any of the EU Member States) or be a non-EU citizen residing in Spanish territory.
Basic prior knowledge of the audiovisual world, editing and post-production will be required.

Conditions
Deposit payment of €150, which will be returned only if you pass the course.
To pass the course, the following two conditions must be met: attendance of more than 80% of the classes and a favorable evaluation of the final project.
