Cine Express: From Idea to Screen
Taught by ESCAC within the OFF ESCAC program in collaboration with Outlabs Training
In this course you will participate in the creation of your own cinematographic piece from ideation and writing, to filming, editing and post-production. The theoretical classes will create the appropriate context to learn about the cinematographic phenomenon (creation, production, distribution), genres, and narrative tools that you will put into play creating a group project.

MODULE 1: Cinema as a cultural and socioeconomic phenomenon
MODULE 2: The tools and processes of cinema.
MODULE 3: Practical applications
Objectives
Understand cinema as an international cultural phenomenon.
Know the tools and processes involved in film creation and production.
Create a script and a complete film piece.
Work in a creation team.
Evaluation
Attendance greater than 80%
Presentation of evaluable final project
Access Requirements
Over 16 years of age.
Be a community citizen (hold the nationality of any of the EU Member States) or be a non-EU citizen residing in Spanish territory.
Basic notions in audiovisual production are recommended, but not essential.
Students must have an interest in cinema and artistic creation, and in teamwork. No technical requirement is necessary

Conditions
Deposit payment of €150, which will be returned only if you pass the course.
To pass the course, the following two conditions must be met: attendance of more than 80% of the classes and a favorable evaluation of the final project.

Professional with more than 20 years of experience, notable for his fiction short films such as Campo de Batalla, Ayúdame a memoria and Mask of Sanity, all of them supported by the Ministry of Culture. There is something in the darkness, starring Luna Fulgencio, obtained 153 selections and 28 awards, in addition to a nomination for the Goya Awards. Mask of Sanity was also awarded at Comic Con. Recently, he directed the documentary series Canarias en la ciudad and a spot for ILUNION HOTELS.
